Old Mutare is a mission site that serves approx, 40,000. people.
Needs: Food, water (new wells need to be established.) medical supplies and medical staff relief.
Vocational training.
Statistics: 1 in 4 have HIV, average life expectancy is 36 years. Because of HIV and other diseases, as well as the effects of a failing economy. Children are being orphaned at an alarming rate.
How can you help: Financially and volunteering for future work teams.
Rural renovation assistance, Horry County, South Carolina
Volunteers help to repair homes in neglected or financially challenged situations.

Projects under development
Pilot program- Small scale commercial organic farming in depressed agricultural area.
Marion county, South Carolina.
Needs: Due to increased fuel prices and associated fall out from fuel prices. There is a need to develop a small scale farm to help off-set the rising price of commodities for hardship schools and medical facilities. As well as to teach a new generation a usable skill.

We have several ways here at GLBLMISSIONS.ORG to find and start up our projects. We work with many established humanitarian/missionary agencies to find out what work needs to be done. In fact our manager as well as members of our advisory board have been team leaders or team members on various projects around the world, this is a tremendous help when arranging projects in countries where reliable contacts have already been made.
To establish a new project in an area where GLBLMISSIONS.ORG does not have reliable contacts, can take from 6 months to a year to see the project get started.
Another way we here at GLBLMISSIONS.ORG find out about projects is from people like you. Use the "needs I've seen" link and send us the needs you have seen in your area and the board will approve further investigation based on our criteria. Who knows, you could be the start of something new in your area.
